This instructor-led training course provides the business analyst and the technical analyst the knowledge of how to use Extricity B2B to solve business-to-business integration problems. The course includes extensive hands-on exercises that allow the student to build, distribute, test and exert inter-company automated processes. During the week, the course will cover the following topics:

Case Study Implementation
Bootcamp: 3 weeks
The Extricity Boot Camp training workshop is a 3-week case study course that emulates an Extricity B2B implementation. The course allows the students the opportunity to implement Extricity software in a risk-free lab environment. This course is not lectured-based, although there will be occasional topical lectures delivered by Extricity Product Experts.
Participants will receive a business scenario on the first day of class and will have 3 weeks to install the software, analyze the business case, design a solution, implement detailed process flows, and build one or more adapters to external systems. At the end of the 3-week Boot Camp, participants can expect to gain condensed implementation experience with real-life scenarios and concentrated, hands-on experience with the Extricity B2B product. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to provide product and usability feedback to Extricity's product management team. Boot Camp is designed to give each student the opportunity to gain a more concentrated hands-on experience with Extricity B2B.
The main objective of this knowledge transfer program is to create experienced product experts who are ready to implement Extricity B2B at customer sites.
The prerequisite for Boot Camp is the completion of a 5-day Extricity B2B product training, java programming experience and/or prior Extricity implementation experience. This session is held once a month and registrations must be approved.

Extricity B2B Executive Overview: 1 day
Description:
Participants will be given an overview of Extricity, Inc. and its flagship product, Extricity B2B. This course will introduce B2B concepts and discuss the challenges of business-to-business integration. Various methods of solving the B2B problem will be addressed. The afternoon session will include a detailed walk-through of the features of our B2B product.

Participants will be presented with an introduction of the RosettaNet organization and its objectives. We will then discuss Extricity's solution for RosettaNet, including details on the installation and configuration of the software. This will be followed by a discussion of how RosettaNet PIPs are represented, and then implemented in Extricity B2B. During this course, the participants will have the opportunity to configure a RosettaNet installation, and then build and execute Alliance processes that implement RosettaNet PIPs

Implementing the Extricity XML Channel:1 day
Description:
Participants will be presented with an introduction of to different methods of B2B communication. Specific discussion will center around the use of XML over HTTP and how the Extricity XML Channel meets these requirements. The details of how to install, configure and then design processes referencing the XML channel will be discussed. During this course, the participants will have the opportunity to configure a XML Channel installation, and then build and execute Alliance processes that communicate via the XML Channel.
